About the “how to cards”

The set of 9 cards is a comprehensive guide to making a vegan pizza. The cards are designed to be easy to follow, with clear instructions and helpful illustrations. The cards start with a list of ingredients and then walk you through the steps of making the pizza dough, preparing the toppings, and baking the pizza.

The illustrations on the cards were made using Procreate, a digital drawing app. The illustrations are simple but effective, and they help to break down the steps of making the pizza into easy-to-understand chunks.

The cards were made in InDesign, a professional layout software program. The colors on the cards were chosen to give a fun yet classy aesthetic. The colors are bright and inviting, but they are also sophisticated and elegant.

The set of 9 cards is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn how to make a vegan pizza. The cards are easy to follow, the illustrations are helpful, and the colors are stylish.

  • The cards were printed in full color.

Assignment

This project was given in JMU Typography I, where you need to make how-to cards that describe step-by-step how to do something and the cards needed to be designed in InDesign with cohesive design:

For this project, I needed to create a set of 9 how-to cards that describe step-by-step how to do something. The cards needed to be 5×7 inches in size and made of high-quality cardstock. They should be printed in full color and cut to size.

To get started, I first needed to choose a topic for your how-to cards. The topic could be anything , but it had to be something that I was familiar with and that can explain step-by-step. Once I chose a topic, I then needed to break down the steps of your how-to into 9 cards. Each card should be a single step in the process.

Next, I had to write clear and concise instructions for each step. The instructions needed to be easy to understand and should be written in a way that someone could follow them to complete the task. I was also advised to create illustrations for each step to help break down the steps of the how-to into easy-to-understand chunks.

Finally, I was required to design the cards using InDesign. The cards had to have a cohesive design that uses consistent fonts, colors, and images.
